How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?
The big AI chat tools are general-purpose. GearHead Personal is tuned for personal life management: meal planning, family scheduling, reminders, integrations with your calendar and email. It remembers your family members and routines across conversations, where most AI chats reset every session. Also, voice chat with personalities tuned for different moments.
What does GearHead Personal NOT do?
It is not built for business operations. If you need a CRM, project management for clients, document review at a professional level, or team collaboration, those are in GearHead Pro and Teams. Personal is focused on personal life, which is intentionally a different product on the same platform.
Is my family data private?
Yes. Encryption at rest with AES-256, in transit with TLS 1.3. Stored on US-based infrastructure. We do not train our models on your data, and we do not sell it. Full security details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No annual contracts on the standard plans. Cancel at the end of any billing cycle. We are not interested in keeping you subscribed if the product is not working for you.
Can my whole family use one account?
The Personal plan is built for one individual managing their household, which works fine for most families since one person typically runs the family logistics. If you want multiple people each with their own login and shared family memory, that capability is coming. Reach out via the contact page if you want to be notified.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The web app works in any modern mobile browser. A native mobile app is in development. Voice chat works on mobile today.
